Father God, thank you for this reminder of the need for forgiveness in this world and the knowledge that you set the example we are to follow. I am grateful for what You taught me about praying for my enemies, that when I did, all discord vanished. For some time, Lord, I thought you had changed the other person, until a friend pointed out that you had changed me instead.
Thank you for my ex-wife. I have known her for nearly 32 years and we were married for about eleven and have two wonderful sons. Thank you for giving her the strength and the willingness to forgive me for being a poor example of all the good things she deserved. Lord, we will probably never marry again...each other or anyone else...but I am blessed to have her as my best friend, and to sit in church with her each Sunday.
I was not a good husband, Father, and you were never invited into the marriage back then, but you have taken me to the woodshed and disciplined the son whom you love, and you showed me how to be an excellent ex-husband, and there is no such word as ex-father.
Thank you for taking every trace of anger towards members of my ex-wife's family out of my heart. I could have never done it on my own, not for fifteen minutes, not on my best day. You make it possible for me to be more like the man I started out to be many years ago.
Thank you for proving that prayer works. I know that I am receiving the blessing of the prayers of family and friends down through the years. Thank you for Paul B., who witnessed to me though I teased him and mocked him, years after I left the church. Thank you that I was able to go to his home and thank him for the investment he made in my eternity.
Thank you for the blessing of a loving, Bible teaching church, and godly men who share their life's experiences, challenges, failures, praise and successes, and for making me feel close to heaven right here on earth.

Dear Father God,
Please guide my mom on how to handle the situation she has with an enemy at work. Please help her not to feel stressed out anymore by this woman. Help this woman also to repent of her sins and surrender her life to Your Son Jesus if she hasn't done so yet. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Lord, I pray for family members who do not share my values and faith. I pray they find peace and comfort and that you give them what they need, whether it be money, a sense of value, health, a positive outlook. the reason they are mean is because they are unhappy. You know how life gets.
and Lord, sometimes I am my own worst enemy; help me trust you are guiding me and providing for me and that your peace and grace are sufficient for me.

Help me remember to pray for those who persecute me. Help me to have their best interests in my mind and remove
anger and bitterness from my heart so that I can love them as You do.

Dear Lord,
Please inspire reconcilation AROUND the whole world today. You say we have just one enemy, and that is satan. Our fight is not against flesh and blood, said Paul.
Lord Jesus, help reconcilation take root and then become a huge and wonderful force that truly does go around the world. Evil is out there and has invaded man....but we were all meant to be one.
Help us truly to make a decision to pray for the people who grate against us or offend us, and let them pray for us.
Please make miracles happen. Please do this also for my children.

We praise you for your grace and mercy. Please work in the minds of those atheists at a university who have a Bible for porn campaign whereby they trade porn for Bibles. We ask that you change their thinking so these atheists come into a loving relationship with you. We pray that you open the eyes of those who might actually read a Bible that is turned in to them—that you convert them to your way of thing. It is in the name of our Lord and Savior that we pray this. Amen.
