Thank you all for praying for me. I am officially back at my old school.
I have a challenging student, so I do need continued prayer.
I know that it was your prayers that got me back to my school.
It was truly a miracle. I know my work is cut out for me, but I feel alot of support from my staff and teachers.
Thank You, Lord, I feel your Love and guidance in so many ways through this all.
I praise YOU Lord, and You Alone. You are worthy to be praised,

You all can pray specifically, I can be firm w/ this child. I so admire the teacher who I am working w/ and she has been giving me good support in how to act w/ this child.
I need to establish control in the beginning of this relationship w/ this child.
He needs to follow the rules like all the other children. He has impulse control problems and hits other children, at times... I ask I can help to enforce this w/ a firm voice. I ask that the other Aides would see I am learning to do the correct way of keeping the other kids safe when he acts out...

Please continue to pray for me. This child has an attachment disorder.
He needs to feel safe, and doesn't trust people. I need to be firm, but somehow get his trust.
I ask he would hold my hand till he knows how to walk to recess and to lunch, etc. He runs away from me when he goes outside. The teachers want him to hold my hand till he can walk and not run.
It was a hard day today. I ask Lord, I could continue to earn his trust and the respect of the other teachers-- as I try my best.
I feel so hard on myself for not being able to control him better...
I pray he would begin to not touch and push other children. He doesn't know how to socialize correctly, because of how he has lived his short life in and out of foster care.

Oh Lord I do pray for this child who has been through so much pain and sorrow in his short life. Give dagmar just the right combination of love and firmness that she needs to deal with this child. Take all feelings of shortcomings from dagmar and instead show her how much good she has accomplished. Let this child see that he can trust dagmar. I pray also that someone would come into this child's life who can make him feel safe and show him that they will not leave him. I pray this child will come to know you and learn that you will never leave him.

Update on today. The child bit me today. He was sent home from school.
Pray I can do what I was taught today by the professional in the school, if a situation like this happens in the future.
I ask Lord, you be with this child all weekend. Give him a peaceful rest.
I pray he would begin to trust me and his routine would become more familar to him,

Udate, the child went to the Dr.'s today. So, he was pulled out of school early. I am praying he go on meds to keep him calm.
I ask this in Jesus Name, amen.
He was on a med back in Dec. before I worked w/ him.
I don't know if he will go back on a medication or not.
I believe in medication when needed to help children cope who really need the medication for physical biological reasons.

Father,
I pray that You will intervene in this child's life and help his parents and doctors know how to help him. Give Dagmar the strength and wisdom to work with this child and bring about what is best for him in every way. Remove her anxiety and replace it with Your wonderful peace. Calm this child and make it so he is reachable and teachable according to Your plan for his life. Lead, guide, and direct Dagmar as she works with him. Protect them both from all harm and keep them in Your loving care.

Our Father, continuing to keep Dagmar and this young child uplifted in prayer. We ask for complete healing for this child, if You Will, please guide the medical personnel as they treat him. Lord, I pray that if the wheels are in motion to give another Aide this child, you move forward. I sense I am not the best person for helping this child. I see that I might be better in my old position that I was in this past month.
I talked to the Head Supervisor and my Principal. The Supervisor said it is the Principal's call. If it be possible, I ask God, I could be w/ the other child. Help me in the future to make a good fit w/ the child I am given.
I have a hard time w/ children who are unruly in the class for the teacher to have to talk to instead of me being able to handle the situaton.
Help me to do the best I can w/ the child I work with, so a teacher can see I am making things better not even more of a challenge for them.
Lord, I am trusting you in this situation to make the best decision for all involved w/ this child.
In in the meantime, help me to be professional and quiet in all I do. Help my anxiety not show as much to anyone, and may things not get any worse in the way I am trying to handle things. I am leaning on You now, Lord,
