After being sick for the past few days, I finally got around to watching 4 movies I've gotten from Citizens United (Xmas gift from the fam). They are all pretty good! Rediscovering God I &II talks about the country's judeo christian heritage, Perfect Valor is about the soldiers who took Fallujah, and Ronald Reagan documents his life and presidency. A little bit of entertainment with a lot of education! Would love to know if anyone else has seen or would recommend.

on Tuesday I went to the mall with the intent to buy District 9 on Blu Ray. I ended up leaving with a biiit more...

District 9

Crest of the Stars (complete anime series on DVD... a steal at $15)
Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2nd Gig (complete anime series on DVD... a steal at $20)
Tetsujin28 (complete anime series on DVD... an uber-steal at $20)

The last one was a particular joy, as I've been really wanting it, but it is out of print and boxsets are going for nearly $80 online. It was marked at $40 (which I was still willing to pay), but at the register rang up at 50% off... win-win!

where was that? i'd like to pick up some good anime myself (and while i'm at it, any recommendations (that i could pick up at a more mainstream store)?)?
